I'm Christina, The Sometimes Crafter since 2008. I was born, raised and still reside in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I'm lucky enough to live in the countryside of Ridgefield, Washington, just north of Portland, with my husband and son. I love the influences of both the city and the country, the new and the old, the modern and the traditional. I began sewing at a very young age. My mother was a seamstress, always encouraging me to sew and craft in many different forms. I love all sorts of crafts - from sewing and quilting, to block printing and creating with clay. I remember designing new patterns from scratch with my grandmother's help on weekends I visited. My aunt's quilting influenced me to begin quilting in earnest in my early 20s. I now spend my days designing, creating and longarm quilting. I can loose hours at the computer coming up with a new quilt design. |
