Batting Options
**I am currently using Warm & White batting by The Warm Company (makers of Warm & Natural).
This batting will be quoted for you if another is not chosen. **
You are welcome to send your own batting with your quilt or purchase it from me. At this time I am offering the Quilters Dream Batting line of cotton, poly and poly blend battings. I have used Quilters Dream Batting for years and have always been 100% happy with the quality of the product. The only other batting I use on my quilts is the Warm & Natural family of products and I find Quilters Dream Batting to be it's equal. I hope to offer Warm & Natural products in the future as well. Please remember that the quality of batting used does matter in your quilt. Loft
The following information is provided by Quilters Dream Batting.
Request :: Thinnest Loft
Lightweight and consistent. Ideal for fine microstitching. Exceptionally drapeable. Perfect for warm climates and for antique restorations, lightweight summer quilts, table runners and wearables.
Select :: Mid Loft
Most popular loft. Wonderful mid-weight imparts beautiful definition to your quilting. Soft, lovely drape. Perfect for all quilted projects, especially medium weight quilts, wearables and wall-hangings.
Deluxe :: High Loft
A wonderful weighty, yet drapeable batt. Provides extra warmth and volume offering superb emphasis to your quilting. Machine quilters love the deluxe loft for show quilts, wall hangings, cold climates and trapunto designs.
Supreme :: Highest Loft
This hefty, dense batt has a full 1/2 pound of cotton per square yard! Used by machine quilters for show quilts and special projects requiring thickness, weight and volume. Perfect for kitchen crafts, ironing board covers or extra-warm heavy quilts.
