I am currently only taking quilts up to roughly a twin size. One side of your quilt needs to measure 78" or less. The other side can be any length. White or cream thread is included in all quilting prices. Batting is an extra charge of $10/yard. I currently use Warm & White.

To calculate the cost of quilt multiple the quilt length x width to arrive at square inches and then multiply that by the price per square inch. For example, a twin quilt that is 72" x 90" would be calculated as follows: 72 * 90 = 6,480 square inches, 6480 * 0.015 (1.5 cents) = $97.20.

To calculate linear inches, add your length and width and multiply by 2. For example, with the same twin sized quilt: 72 + 90 = 162, 162 * 2 = 324 linear inches. Linear inches is simply the measurement around your entire quilt.

Edge-To-Edge Quilting
One design stitched edge-to-edge
Price: Minimum fee $40 or $0.015 per sq. in.

Edge-To-Edge + Custom Border
One design, stitched edge-to-edge within the body of the quilt, and a separate design in the border.
Price: Minimum fee $65 or $0.02 per sq. in.

Custom Quilting
Custom quilting in blocks, triangles, sashings and borders.
Price: Minimum fee $85 or $0.03 per sq. in.

Thread
Currently Superior Threads So Fine! (50 wt.) is being used with a bobbin of Bottom Line (60 wt.) thread. Both are 100% polyester. The Bottom Line blends nicely into the backing of the quilt, giving lots of texture with the design itself, but seeing little of the thread. White and cream quilting thread are included in the cost of your quilting. If you would like a different color or material that will be charged to you at cost. There is a lot of misinformation out there about polyester threads vs. cotton threads. To learn more I recommend doing some reaseach of your own and watching this video from a workshop by Bob at Superior Threads. He does a great visual demonstration.

Thread Change - $10
Each thread change on a single quilt will result in a $10 charge for the change as well as the cost of thread should it be something other than white or cream.

Variegated Thread - $10
Gutterman and Coats and Clarks variegated threads are used at this time. Should you prefer a different brand please discuss it with me first and I will do my best to accommodate you.

Backing
You provide the fabric and I will cut, sew, press and square for quilting.
Price: First seam $20, Additional seams $5

Squaring Up
After quilting is finished I will square up your quilt so all you have to do after you receive your quilt is attach the binding.
Price: Minimum $20 or $0.20 per linear inch

Assemble Binding
I will cut and assemble your binding, press in half for double-fold French binding method, and roll up to ship, all ready for you to sew on to your quilt. Binding will be cut on the straight grain.
Price: Minimum $15 charge or $0.10 per linear inch

Binding Make + Attach to Front
You send me your binding fabric and I will cut, assemble and machine sew it to the front of your quilt. Squaring up of your quilt is included in this price.
Price: Minimum $25 charge or $0.15 per linear inch

Make + Attach to Front & Back
You send me your binding fabric and I will cut, assemble and machine sew it to the front of your quilt. Then I will hand sew it to the back of your quilt with an invisible stitch. Squaring up of your quilt is included in this price.
Price: Minimum $50 or $0.50 per linear inch.
